If you've started looking at some of the digital camera online, you might see some cameras with "body only" listed in the title. These are usually high performance SLR cameras like the Canon 7D that do not come with the lens on the camera, just the body. But, why do they do this when you purchase digital camera online?Well, the camera comes with body only because the camera has interchangeable lens system. In turn YOU the user can pick out and buy a lens that is going to be useful for you and fit your budget. For example, if you do a lot of close up and macro shots, then you really aren't going to need a wide-angle lens. Instead, you would need a Macro lens!
Choosing the cheapest digital camera is going to end up saving you a lot of money, but choosing a body only camera is going to leave you with a lot more options, especially when you purchase digital camera online!
Think about your needs and then think about the type of camera you need along with the type of lens.
